Sour, fruity, and surprisingly honest. Beer as nature intended.

The Flora Sour Cherry bears the name of the Flora district in Merelbeke, where De Wilde Brouwers found their home in a former shoe factory. All beers are brewed there using purified rainwater, which is collected from the roofs via reverse osmosis technology and purified to be purer than spring water. Malt and hops are organically sourced and at least 99% come from EU agriculture. The philosophy is as clear as water: beer with substance, brewed with respect for the planet.

In the glass appears a Deep Burgundy Red beer with a fresh, lively character. The nose is direct and honest: real tart cherries, earthy and floral at the same time. On the palate, a pleasant acidity follows — fresh and thirst-quenching, with the authentic taste of ripe cherries that never feels artificial.

This is the ideal beer for those who love sours but don't want to hit their heads. Low in alcohol, high in character — perfect as an aperitif or a snack on a sunny terrace.

Serve well chilled in a wine glass for maximum aroma development, or pair with soft goat cheese and fresh sourdough bread.
